World Oral Health Day 2020 – Unite For Mouth Health This year’s World Oral Health Day on 20 March, comes amidst the COVID-19 pandemic – the biggest health crisis the world has faced in more than a century. Although it demands less-pressing attention, oral disease is a global health epidemic and should not be overlooked. More than half the world’s population, an estimated 3.58 billion people, suffer from oral diseases, many of which are preventable. As well as having the confidence that comes with a beautiful smile, taking care of your mouth is essential for good health and well-being, at every age.
